HOW TO MAKE POHA
- An interesting breakfast recipe, wash pressed rice (poha) and rinse
well. Drain all the water and keep aside for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan over low-medium flame and add mustard seeds. When they
start spluttering, add curry leaves, peanuts and green chillies in the pan.
- Take care not to burn the peanuts. After the peanuts are fried, add the
small cubes of potato. Allow the potato to cook well.
- Then add the poha into the pan. Mix it well with the ingredients and add
the turmeric powder in it.
- Once it gets mixed well, add sugar, salt and lemon juice in the pan.
- The poha shouldn't be too dry. Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Also, Gujaratis love to garnish their poha with pomegranate seeds, so
you can garnish it with that to have a little tangy taste.
